Our Decaf is made with beans grown on volcanic soil in the forested mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the Nayarit region of Mexico. The beans are sourced from various smallholder producers.
They’re then decaffeinated following the Mountain Water Process using water from the Pico de Orizaba mountain. This process is chemical-free and gentle on the beans. Resulting in a decaffeinated bean with much of its natural flavour still intact.
We take the gently decaffeinated beans and transform them into a delightfully flavourful decaf. A Decaf that doesn’t disappoint is often hard to find. This organic decaf is formidably tasty and expertly roasted by hands in small batches. The flavour is predominantly notes of chocolate with a nutty aftertaste and no acidity.
