Description

This decaf is the ideal choice to enjoy a delicious cup after dinner or for those sensitive to caffeine. It doesn’t sacrifice flavour in any respect. The gentle decaffeination process these beans go through maintains the flavour integrity of the beans. That in turn, allows the roast to be more full-bodied and refined for an unparalleled cup of Decaf.

The Bean:
Our Decaf is made with beans grown on volcanic soil in the forested mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the Nayarit region of Mexico. The beans are sourced from various smallholder producers.

They’re then decaffeinated following the Mountain Water Process using water from the Pico de Orizaba mountain. This process is chemical-free and gentle on the beans. Resulting in a decaffeinated bean with much of its natural flavour still intact.

The Roast:
We take the gently decaffeinated beans and transform them into a delightfully flavourful decaf. A Decaf that doesn’t disappoint is often hard to find. This organic decaf is formidably tasty and expertly roasted by hands in small batches. The flavour is predominantly notes of chocolate with a nutty aftertaste and no acidity.
