El Topacio means topaz the love gemstone. In a way the name is a way to stay in line with its sister farm El Diamante (the diamond).

More than a century ago, two coffee-producer families were united ty their offspring marriage. Francisco Magaña and Evangelina Caceres, both coming from not only active coffee producing families but also experienced in processing and trading coffee.

Both families nested in the mountains of Juayua, Sonsonate in the Ilamatepec Mountain range. The family has a long history in the town constructing the towns church.

El Topacio share a 30 hectare native virgin forest with altitudes ranging 1,300 to 1,700 MASL

This pacamara natural was dried on raised beds made from locally grown  bamboo trees. A clean heavy bodied cup with a complex mix of fruity flavors such as guava, sweet orange and ripe stone-fruits.

Multiple times winner of Cup of Excellence, Leo Muyshondt is devoted to plant and maintain only elite varietals, he comments that even in the face of plagues and the effects of climate change, quality is the only feasible way to produce coffee.
